Rev. Kimberly L. Williams Brings Community Voice to BWHI’s 340B Briefing on Capitol Hill

In our churches across the country, we see too many families forced to choose between a prescription and a bill. That’s why Choose Healthy Life is working to make sure programs like the 340B Drug Pricing Program reach the people they were built to serve and keep medications within reach.

On September 30, our President & CEO Rev. Kimberly L. Williams joined the Black Women’s Health Imperative (BWHI) on Capitol Hill for “Restoring 340B’s Promise,” a panel briefing in the Rayburn House Office Building, to bring that community perspective into the conversation.

She was joined by experts on 340B and community health: Kalvin Pugh of the Community Access National Network (CANN), Dr. Rosa Castillo Krewson of the Organization for Latino Health Advocacy (OLHA), and Dr. Lydia A. Isaac of the National Urban League. BWHI Executive Vice President Dr. Ifeoma C. Udoh moderated.
